Growing up in southwest Georgia, Dr. Scott developed a love for animals at an early age. He fulfilled his dream of becoming a veterinarian when he graduated from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine after previously obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology (also at UGA, go Dawgs!). Now Dr. Scott is proud to fulfill another lifelong dream: opening an independent, family oriented, state of the art animal hospital.

Dr. Scott believes that one of the most important roles of a veterinarian is communicating the complexities of animal medicine to clients in a way that is both comprehensive and understandable. This is important because it allows pet parents to make informed decisions and choose the pet care that is best for them. Dr. Scott has a passionate interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, challenging medical cases, and new puppy/kitten checkups.

In his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys going to the lake, cheering on the Dawgs, and spending time with his wife, Kolbey, his daughter, Charlotte, his son, Coen, and fur-kids Piper and Tripp.
