Meet Cassie

Cassie, born in the north and raised in the south, has always had a love for animals. Her family adopted a Dalmatian puppy when she was just a few months old. They grew up together, forming a strong bond that inspired Cassie’s passion for helping animals. This passion deepened after the passing of her first companion.

Cassie began her journey in the veterinary field by enrolling in the Penn Foster Veterinary Assistant program while working as a kennel technician in 2013. The following year, she started her training as a veterinary technician. Over the past 11 years, she has enjoyed helping patients and educating clients about their pets’ health. Although she is no longer a technician and now works as a receptionist, Cassie continues to apply her knowledge and exceptional skills within her role of a veterinary receptionist.

When she isn’t at Sixes Animal Hospital, Cassie enjoys spending time at home with her partner and two children or going on new family adventures. Although she currently doesn’t have any pets, she hopes one day to own a Brussel Griffon; her dream dog.
